Here's exactly how points work, how the leaderboard ranks you, and what's up for grabs.
1 · Earn points on every match
Predict the final score of each match before it kicks off. Points are awarded automatically once the result comes in.

2 · Knockout rounds are worth more
Round of 32 through the Final. Knockout match points are multiplied, and you also pick which team advances.

3 · More ways to score
⭐ The Banker — double or minus
Once a day you can make one prediction your Banker: win it and those points double, miss it and you lose 50 points. High risk, high reward — bank only a match you trust. It locks 1 hour before the day’s first kickoff.
👤 Player picks
Back players to score or to be booked before kickoff. Scorer picks pay only when you call the exact goal count — “1”, “2” or “3+” (a hat-trick is 3 or more). Get the count wrong and the pick scores nothing.
✨ Quick extras, daily quiz & streaks
Answer quick match questions and the one-a-day quiz, and keep a daily prediction streak alive, for bonus points. These are personal points — yours to keep and redeem, but they don’t affect the leaderboard.
⚔️ Head-to-Head Arena
Back teams with free play-coins in the Arena, just for fun. Coins are never money and never affect your points or rank.
4 · The group stage runs in three rounds
In the group stage every team plays three matches — one in each round. A round only finishes once every team has played, then the next round kicks off. Each round is its own competition with its own prizes.

5 · Climb the leaderboard
There's a leaderboard for every round and stage of the tournament — the three group rounds, each knockout round, plus the Overall Champion board for the whole World Cup. Players are ranked by:
- Total points earned in that round / stage
- then most exact-score hits
- then most correct results
- then most correct knockout-advance calls
- then best accuracy (points per prediction)
Players who match on all of these share the same rank.
The higher you finish, the bigger the prize.
🏆 How the Overall Champion is decided
The Overall Champion is your cumulative score across the whole tournament — every knockout match and Group Rounds 2 and 3.
Group Round 1 does not count toward the Champion title. Round 1 still has its own prizes, and every point you earn there is still yours to redeem for dining rewards — it just doesn't factor into the Champion race. So a slow start in the opening round never knocks you out of the title hunt.
📊 Leaderboard points vs personal points
Your rank is decided only by your match predictions — exact scores, correct results, knockout bonuses and the Banker. Everything else (player picks, quick extras, the daily quiz, streaks and prizes) adds to your personal total to redeem, but not to your rank. You can see the full split on your dashboard.
6 · What you can win

7 · How ties are settled
If players are genuinely level on every measure above, they share the rank, and the prize is handled fairly:
- One winner is chosen by a public, provably-fair random draw from a seed published in advance — nobody can rig it.
8 · Turn points into dining rewards
Spend your points for a discount at Jaalakam: 5 points = ₹1.
Minimum 100 points to redeem. Each redemption creates a single-use QR code that's validated at the restaurant. Redeeming spends your balance but never lowers your leaderboard rank — that's based on total points earned.
